Gloversville- Robert J. Paigo, Jr., "Bob" passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2022 at his home.
Bob was born on April 14, 1963 son of Robert J. Paigo, Sr. and the late Patricia and Aldo Console.
Bob was a talented bowler, achieving many honor scores. Bob mostly enjoyed bowling with his sons. He was an avid fan of both the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a devoted father and never missed one of his children's events. Bob's most cherished memories were the times he spent with his sons. Together they enjoyed attending professional sporting events, vacationing and visiting Saratoga Race Track.
He was a graduate of Columbia High School and earned his Bachelor's degree at SUNY Brockport. He worked for many years as a self employed accountant. Bob very much enjoyed his job and he will be remembered for the kindness and generosity he showed to his many valued clients. He will be remembered as an amazing man, and even more so, an amazing father. Bob will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his sons, Jared A. Paigo (Emily), Alexander J. Paigo and their mother Arlene Leto Lagace; siblings, Carla Neal (Ben), Michael Paigo (Bonnie); step-mother, Elisa Anno Paigo; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 12-2pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A service will begin at 2pm. Interment will be held privately at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
