Robert I. Preusser II, 72, passed away at the Stratton VA medical center on Monday August 1st.
A lifelong resident of the Capital Region, Bob proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War, earning a Purple Heart among other commendations.
He became a Christian Pastor and served the Lord for many years until his passing.
Bob is survived by his son Robert Preusser III, daughter Tara Preusser, grandson Justin Preusser, sisters Barbara Coons and Cheryl Preusser Funaro, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Stratton VA for their care and compassion.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday August 12th at 2pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville NY.
