Robert E. Ruck

Watervliet- Robert E. Ruck, 79, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018. He was the son of the late Ira and Viola Ruck.
Robert worked for many years with the NYS Department of Health before his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing. Robert loved woodworking and could always be found tinkering around. Above all Robert enjoyed most of all being a grandfather.
He is survived by his son Scott H. Ruck (Colleen), his only granddaughter, Charlotte Mae Ruck, siblings; Jolene Ruck, Nancy Ruck-Harris and Joseph Ruck. Robert also leaves behind his fiancé, Joanne "Rita" Clemente.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hudson Mohawk Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 10:30am-12:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A service will begin at 12:00pm with interment following at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
