Robert E. Schrimsher, Sr.

RENSSELAER- Robert E. Schrimsher Sr., age 63, passed away on August 23, 2022.
He was born in Albany, the son of the late Richard Sr. and Donna Schrimsher. He was also predeceased by his wife of 38 years, Deborah Schrimsher; sister, Sheila White and brother Wayne Schrimsher.
Robert served in the Army for four years and was honorably discharged. He worked in construction all of his life.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and kids, camping, playing cards and board games.
He is survived by his wife, Jen Schrimsher; children: Robert Schrimsher Jr. (Kristin) and Robin Fix (Jason); grandchildren: Mackenzie, Laela, Christopher, Emma and Lilly; siblings: James Schrimsher (Patricia) of Watervliet, Tina Ward (Larry) of Wynantskill, Richard Schrimsher (Tina) of Rensselaer, David Schrimsher (Kelly) of Cohoes and Lisa Putnam (Paul) of Tennessee. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours Wednesday August 31, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York 12205.
