Robert J. Spiak

Robert J. Spiak, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at St. Peters Hospital with his loving family by his side. Bob was the son of the late John K. and Justine K. Spiak. He was the devoted husband of 19 years to Barbara A. Spiak.

Bob loved wood working but he most enjoyed spending time with his grandsons.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sons, John and Shane Spiak and his sister Debbie (Spiak) Dugan.

Bob is survived by his wife Barb, his daughter Kimberly (Keith) Zeto, his step-daughter, Nicole (Ken) Twinam. He is the adored grandfather of, Keith Zeto Jr. and Jason and Aaron Twinam. His sister Justine (Russ) Wendt and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Tuesday March 2, 2021 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday March 2, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Madeleine Sophie. Burial will follow the Mass at Memory Gardens, Colonie, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN, 38148, or to the American Heart Association, Albany 4 Atrium Drive, Albany, NY, 12205 in Bobs memory.

Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
