Robert T. Marsh

Robert Thomas Marsh, 77, passed away into eternal life on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 under hospice care at his home with his family by his side. He was the son of the late George E. and Mary Grace (Wilson) Marsh. After working 20 years with the New York State Office of General Services he retired in 1997.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife Agnes (Myers) Marsh and is the cherished father of James T. "Tim", Robert M. (Annmarie) and Deborah J. Becker. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters Richard (Patricia), Thomas (Rose), Michael (late Joyce), John M., M. Jane Kiernan, Josephine Zielinski, Grace Halpin, Irene Bristol, Carol Herbert, V. Jean (Arthur) Kane, Margaret Travers, Helen Mergel and Joan Marsh. He was predeceased by his brother George and his wife Josephine and sisters Eileen Wiltse and Lois Marsh. He is special Grandpa, Gramps and Pops to James J. Becker III (Mindy Dugan), their sons Tyler J. and Derek R., Jessica Troiano (Alessandro), their sons Tristan A. and Jude R., Duane Hull Jr., and son Giovanni D., Jared, Evan and Jonathan Marsh. Many nieces, nephews and their children also survive.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 or to the Northeast Kidney Foundation 99 Troy Road, Suite 200 East Greenbush, NY 12061 in Roberts memory.

Calling hours will be on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:00 am at All Saints Catholic Church, Albany. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
