Robert T. Turner, Jr.
December 16, 1945 — January 23, 2013
Robert T. Turner, Jr., 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peters with his family by his side. Robert was born in Dublin, Ireland and was the son of the later Robert and Mae Turner. He was an active member of the Colonie Elks and the Polish American Community Center.
Robert was known for his kindness, and was very helpful to others. He would offer help to all who needed it.
Robert is survived by his sister, Anne (Joseph) Forenzo, his nieces Teresa (David) Stutsrim and Maureen Nichols, his cousins Patricia (Fred) Frank and Beverly (John) Rivers, his dear friends Barbara Papale and Marianne Rings and his feline companion Beethoven.
The family would like to thank the entire staff with the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peters for all of their care and compassion given to Robert.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 in Robert's memory.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 609 Central Ave. Albany. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
