Robert T Woods

Robert Thomas Woods "Bobby", 65, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Albany to the late George and Rose Woods. Robert loved to Golf, but spending time with his family was his passion. Robert worked with the Brick Layer and Mason Local #2 then after retirement enjoyed working at the Desmond with the local 471. In addition to his parents Robert was predeceased by, his son, Robert; his sister, Amelia Felty, and his brothers; William, Joseph and Frank.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Carol. He is the loving father of Jimmy (Tonya); and the beloved grandfather of Jimmy Jr., Kristen and Robert. He is the brother of George (Marge), Albert (Jean), David, Michael (Ann), Rochelle Woods and Theresa Noto. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, great cousins and close friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 am at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Schenectady. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1 to 4 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
