Robert Weaver

ALBANY-Robert J. Weaver, 87, of Newtonville passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Albany Medical Center. Mr. Weaver was born in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Charles and Irene Fasnacht Weaver. He was a life resident of Albany. He received a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from LeHigh University. Mr. Weaver was a registered Professional Engineer in NYS and was employed by the NYS Dept. of Transportation. He served in the US Navy during WWII, earning the grade of Quarter Master third class.
He was the devoted husband of 63 years to Joan Wagner Weaver of Newtonville. The loving father of LtCol (Ret, USAF) Roger E. (wife Carmela) Weaver of Colorado Springs, CO, grandfather of Randall, Eric, Tanya and Ryan Weaver.
A memorial service will be held at 6PM on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
