ALBANY, NY – Robert W. Weidman, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2007. He was born in Albany on November 10, 1953 and is the beloved son of Gladys A. Weidman and the late James A. Weidman. Bobby was a long time resident of Rehabilitation Support Services of Albany and formerly lived in Ravena. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked for many years at Conrail. Bobby was well liked and loved by all who came to know him. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Renee (William Morgan) Weidman Malthouse, Tanesha (Doug Lord) Weidman Boradgiak, Nicole Weidman (Kyle) Myers and Jefferson (McKinley) Weidman. He is the brother of James H. (Barbara) Weidman. Also surviving are several grandchildren, his niece, Jill Goodspeed and his nephew, Paul Weidman.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
