Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving eight years and the Army National Guard, serving 17 years. After retiring in 1999 from the N.Y.S. Mr. Wojnar was an avid outdoorsman and a talented woodworker. Bob is the beloved husband of 39 years to Deborah E. Wojnar. He is the devoted father of Gregory F. Wojnar of Rotterdam and Nicole D. Also surviving is his cousin, whom he considered his brother, Paul Harasimowicz and his wife, Carol of Schenectady and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to thank Amanda's House for providing a place of respite, the staff of Glens Falls Hospital Oncology Unit and Dr. Orlando Martel and his staff, Tina and Jeanne for all of the care given to Bob during his illness.
