Bert Carlson passed away peacefully at home with her family on November 15, 2017.
A loyal, generous and caring person, Bert will be missed by many friends and family. Always a hard worker Bert was employed by Price Chopper, Union College, Siena College and Brown's Transportation. She enjoyed bowling (being a 600 club member), NASCAR, camping at Pine Lake and Royal Mountain, and having dinner with friends at Vrooman's in Caroga Lake.
She was predeceased by her parents Bob and Barbara Carlson and her partner Pat Cain.
Bert is survived by her beloved "kids" Angel and Moosey; her sister Robin and her husband Shows Leary; her aunts Pat Endries, Gerri Dagostino and JoAnn Carlson, several cousins and many friends.
The warmest of thanks to Bert's "support team" - Caiden Schermerhorn, Renee Mandarano and Bobbi Koval - you made a difference.
A graveside celebration of Bert's life will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:00am at Park View Cemetery, 40 Fehr Ave., Schenectady, NY 12304. A reception will follow services.
Memorial contributions can be made to your local animal shelter or Pet Connection c/o Steve Caporizzo, 341 Northern Blvd, Albany NY, 12204.
