Roberta A Moderno of Halfmoon, NY Passed away on Monday November 27, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Roberta was born on June 22, 1943 to Carmela and Daniel J. Amatucci in Bronx, NY.

Roberta moved to and grew up in White Lake, NY and graduated from Monticello High School in 1961. She most recently resided in Halfmoon, NY. Roberta was a devoted wife and loving Mother who enjoyed traveling and visting various casinos. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and has passed on her love of family and holiday traditions and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Nicholas Moderno and her three children, Deborah Hill and her husband, Harry J Hill III, Denise Moderno-May and her husband, Kevin May, Camille Moderno-Hunt and her husband, Jeff Hunt. She is also survived by her brother, Gabriel Amatucci his children, Patricia, Daniel and Pamela Amatucci and her sister, Jean Amatucci- Fox, her husband, Mark D. Fox and their son Michael Fox, as well as 7 grandchildren, Nicholas May, Kimberly Hill, John Hill (johnny boy), Danielle May (dolly), Andrea Hill, Brandan Hunt and Troy Hunt (Troy Boy); two great grandchildren, Jace and Justine Hill. Roberta is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held at New Comer Cremations and Funeral, 181 Troy Schenectedy Rd., Watervliet from 3pm to 7pm on Friday December 1, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peters Church, 10 Liberty St., Monticello NY 12701 at 10:30 am on December 2, 2023. Interment will immediately follow Mass in Evergreen Cemetery, 1817 State Route 17B, Bethel, NY.
