SLINGERLANDS – Roberta O'Neill, 72, of Krumkill Road, Slingerlands, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at her home following a long illness.
The daughter of Arthur and Marion (Tremble) O'Neill, Roberta was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 6, 1940. Roberta was one of five children born to Arthur and Marion. Roberta was predeceased by her twin brother, Robert ad two older brothers, Danny and Arthur Jr. Roberta is survived by a sister, Helene Nielson and her dear friend, Linda Boomer.
Roberta attended NYC schools and moved to the Albany area in 1989. Roberta worked for New Visions of Albany. Roberta attended The Redeemer Church on Schoolhouse Road in Albany. Roberta enjoyed music of all types, singing and taking trips to the Casino with her friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will follow at Grove Cemetery in Coeymans.
