EAST GREENBUSH - Roberta J.Williams, known to all as June, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023.
She was born in Watervliet to Robert and Jean Boyd.
She was predeceased by her husband, James D.Williams and children, Jean Scheriff and Jack Williams as well as daughter-in-law, Lue.
Long retired from Albany Medical Center, June was active for many years in the Rensselaer Elks holding many offices including Exalted Ruler.
June is survived by four children, Judy (late Jerry) O'Neil, Jeffry Williams, Joanne 'Annie' (Scott) Sherman and Jim (Dana) Williams. She leaves behind twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Rensselaer County Community Hospice. The compassionate care offered by this group, particularly Beth,Wendy, Michelle and Jamie cannot be praised enough.
The loving care provided by June's daughter-in-love, Dana made it possible for her to remain with her family until her passing. For that we are forever grateful.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
