Delmar – Robin B. (Bowdish) Morris, 63, died Feb 18, 2008 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with ALS. A devoted mother and wife, she was also an avid gardener, and loved to walk and enjoy the outdoors. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed sharing her love of cooking with her friends and family, whether through preparing a simple meal for her family or providing dishes for holiday's and special occasions. She was a long time member of the Junior League of Albany and active in her community for much of her life.
Robin was the daughter of Clifford and Shirley Bowdish formerly of Delmar. She is survived by her loving husband Ernest E. Morris of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; a brother Christopher Bowdish of Delmar, NY; a sister Katrina Bowdish of Raymond, ME; her beloved children Rebecca Williams, of Albany, NY; sons Pieter and wife Christiane Williams of Yarmouth, ME, and Matthew and wife Stephanie Williams of South Portland ME; two lovely grandchildren Sophia and Elena Williams also of South Portland, a niece Tiffiny (Bowdish) Snyder of Berne, and a nephew Christopher Bowdish of Delmar.
There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the ALS Association (www.als.org). The family would like to thank the St. Peter's Regional ALS Center and Albany County Hospice for their compassion and support.
