ALBANY- Rodna N. Kapsaroff, 87, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 11, 2009 at the Resurrection Rest Home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Resen, Macedonia and was the daughter of the late George and Zora Nickoloff. Rodna was a longtime resident of North Albany. She worked for New York State Office of General Services for many years. She was predeceased in 1974 by her husband Christo Kapsaroff.
Rodna is the beloved mother of John (Audra) Kapsaroff of Atlanta, GA and George (Virginia) Kapsaroff of Slingerlands. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial services on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery at a later date. At the request of the family, memorial contributions are suggested to Resurrection Rest Home, 90 N. Main St. Castleton on Hudson, NY 12033 or Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany NY 12205 in memory of Rodna N. Kapsaroff.
