Rodney R. Coons, 75, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Albany Medical Center.
He was born in Cobleskill on December 10, 1948 to Royal and Lucy (Hicks) Coons.
Rodney was employed for many years with Atlas Copco Comptec in Voorheeseville.
He was predeceased by his father.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Alice; his daughter, Jody; his mother, Lucy; his sisters, Sheila and Terran and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a memorial service to immediately follow at 1:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
Interment will be held later in the spring at Richmondville Rural Cemetery in Richmondville.
