Roger A. Sanford

Albany - Roger A. Sanford, Jr., 73, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018, with his loving family by his side. Roger was the loving husband to Lois Sanford. They were married for 45 years.

Roger was retired from Parsons Child and Family Care. Roger was an avid fisherman.

Roger is survived by his children, Kim (Alan) Lloyd, Chuck (Adrienne) Sanford, John Sanford, Susan Sanford, Lori LaRock (Mark); 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his brother, William (Carol) Blair; his sister, June Holman; and many loving friends.

Roger was predeceased by his son, Roger Sanford, III; and his siblings, Pat and Jean; and his best friend, Grandma Irene.

Private visitation and service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association.
