October 27, 1930 — July 23, 2016

Rensselaer- Roger W. Gover, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 23,2016, at theAlbany Stratton VA Medical Center Albany, NY. Born in Barre, Vermont to Rita (Freeguard) Gover and Alton Gover.

Roger is survived by his children, Lisa (Gover) Amaral, Roger L, Mark and Joseph Gover and his sister Brenda Galway and brother Ronnie Gover. He was predeceased by two brothers, Murel of Ludlow, MA and Allan of Fayetteville, NC and one sister Elizabeth Clark of Spofford, NH.

He served in the United States Air Force. He was a Christian man who provided for his children with love and hard work. He will be missed by all his family and friends particularly by the Morales-Rodriguez family.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Third Reformed Church 20 Ten Eyck Ave. Albany 12209; a funeral service will be officiated by Rev. M. Rodriguez. Burial will be at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
