Ronald G. Burris

EAST GREENBUSH - Ronald G. Burris passed away peacefully at home on March 14, 2024. Ron was born on February 22, 1939 in Plattsburgh, NY— the son of Albert Burris and Pearl Charbonneau.

Ron is survived by his wife and love of his life, Ann Vaillancourt. They shared sixty-five wonderful years of marriage. Ron is also survived by his sister-Jan (Tony) of Menands, NY; three sons— Keith, Brian and Ronald A(Lynn); four grandsons— Brian Jr., Anthony, Zachary, and Jonathan; and one granddaughter, Kyra; as well as many nieces, nephews, and three great grandchildren.

Ronald attended Cathedral Academy in Albany. He was employed by United States Postal Service for 45 years as Lead Expeditor at the Albany County Airport and New Karner Rd. Ron was also an avid sports fan.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, N.Y. 12205. A service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 10 a.m. for the interment at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie.
