Ronald J. Coleman

VOORHEESVILLE – Ronald J. Coleman, 82, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

He was born in Albany, a son of the late James and Margaret (Smith) Coleman.

Ronald worked for the New York Thruway Authority for many years before retiring in 1995.
He was a gifted mathematician that could solve any formula with ease. He enjoyed watching the Siena Saints and the Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed taking trips to casinos and going on cruises with his wife. He adored his granddog, Charlie.

He was predeceased by his siblings, James Coleman, Margaret Leyden and Elizabeth Elze.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann (Luzinski) Coleman; his stepdaughters, Terri Tarullo and Kimberly (Dave) Kopshac. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Margaret "Peggy" Coleman and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a memorial service to immediately follow at 7:00 pm on Monday, November 6, 2023 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A committal service will follow at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 7 at Memory Gardens in Colonie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204 in Ronald's memory.
