Ronald G. Didonna

Johnstown- Ronald " Ronnie" G. DiDonna, It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald G. DiDonna. Ronnie passed on December 18, 2023 after a long battle with illness. Ronnie was born on November 26, 1950 to the late William and Lempi DiDonna.

Ronnie was the father of Jason DiDonna, who was his only child and who predeceased him.

Ronnie lived most of his life in Niskayuna before moving to Johnstown. He was retired from the Schenectady County School District. After retirement, he spent his time hunting down antiques and wondering around Flea Markets. He also enjoyed spending time at Saratoga Lake with his cousins. Ronnie came from a very large family consisting of eight brothers and eight sisters.


Ronnie is survived by his wife Jolene DiDonna. Brothers, James and Richard and his sisters Kathleen, Joyce, Dea, Judy and Brenda.

Ronnie was predeceased by his brothers William, Robert, Joseph, Anthony, Gary, and Edward. Sisters Sylvia, Eileen and Keka. Calling hour will be held on Wednesday January 3, 2024 10-11am followed by 11:00am service held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 343 New Karner Road Colonie , NY 12205. Burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens.
