Ronald E. Weidman

Ronald Weidman, 62, passed away on peacefully on Wednesday, Oct 31, 2012 at his home with his wife by his side. He was born in Albany to the late Robert and Mildred Weidman. Ronald enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister Darlene Close.

Ronald is survived by his Wife of over 27 years, Robin (Filkins) Weidman, his brother Robert E. Weidman, his mother-in-law Joyce Filkins, his sister-in-laws Kim Filkins, Lori (Brian) Heffner and Christine Mastrobouno. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and his close friend Adam Pitts.

The family would like to thank the entire staff with Albany County Hospice, especially Susan Illich-Weisser for all of the care and compassion given to Ronald.

Family and friends are invited for calling hours on Monday from 4 to 7 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Funeral service and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
