COLONIE – Ronald E. Fahd, 54, of Colonie, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2005. Born in Albany, he is the son of Doris Berry Shumway and the late Joseph Fahd, Sr. He was a Colonie resident for most of his life. Ron is the husband of Nancy Coulter Fahd. He is the father of Michelle Fitzpatrick and her husband, Michael and Colleen and Justin Fahd. He is the brother of Joseph (Nancy) Fahd, Richard (Rosemarie) Fahd, Donald (Diane) Fahd, Diane (Tom) Krosky and Terry (Theresa) Fahd. Ron is the grandfather of Kaitlyn and Lauren Fitzpatrick and Devyn Fahd. He is the brother-in-law of Judith (Louis) Lourinia. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Justin Fahd Education Fund, c/o Key Bank, 1295 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12205.
