Schenectady- Ronald Lee Fowler , 66, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016. He was the son of the late Roy and Stella Fowler.
Ronald graduated from Mont Pleasant High School. Upon graduating, he enlisted in the Navy, where he served in the Vietnam War on the U.S.S. Ticonderoga with his brother. His career was with the Bellevue Builders in Schenectady. In his free time, he enjoyed playing softball, hunting, fishing, and bowling. He was an avid North Carolina Tar Heel's fan.
Ronald is survived by his children: Lynn (Dennis) Bottomley, Lisa Fowler, and Ronald Fowler Jr.; siblings: Wendy (Ed) Conn, Emma Roth, Roy (Sandy) Fowler III, and Jay (Marlette) Fowler; grandchildren: Garrett, Tori, Kendra, Geah, and Stella; great grand daughter: Julianna; along with many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Ronald is predeceased by his fiancé: Karen Shupe; and brother in law: John Roth Sr..
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, on Thursday, November 17th, 2016, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A burial will take place on Friday, November 18th, 2016, at 9:30 am at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
