Ronald Green

Ronald E. Green, age 63, of Schenectady, NY died Monday December 4, 2023. Ronald was born on March 8, 1960, in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was married to Elizabeth Green on March 17, 1979, in Newburgh, New York.

Ronald graduated from Newburgh Free Academy and went on to serve in the United States Army from May 5, 1979 to May 5, 1982 and was honorably discharged after completing active-duty service which include achieving the rank of SP4 and serving as a US Army Military Police Officer.

In 2018 Ronald retired from the Cappiello Dairy Production Company he served with in the Schenectady plant. Ronald enjoyed attending family gatherings, having barbeques, traveling, sports, supporting his family members at events and graduations, but most of all going fishing when time allowed.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Schenectady; two daughters Shamika and Stephanie Green both of Schenectady, NY, four grandchildren Chantal, Dyani, Nauquan, Siobhan all of Schenectady, NY. Ronald also leaves to morn his brothers Lamont (Arlene) Garner, Jonathan Whitted, sisters, Denise Ray and Clara Green, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Ronald was predeceased by his father Conway Green, his mother Rose, and Stepfather James Ray, two brothers Michael Green and Conway Green.
