Ronald J. Buckley

COLONIE – Ronald J. Buckley Sr., 65, of Colonie, passed away suddenly on Saturday 12/10/2011 at Ellis Hospital.
He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Pat Parks. Ron was a truck driver with Preston Trucking in Colonie for 30 years, retiring in 1998. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and camping at Saratoga Lake. He also enjoyed an occasional trip to Atlantic City. Ron will be remembered as a hard worker and devoted to his loving family.
He is the beloved husband of 45 years to Barbara Bishop Buckley. He is the devoted father of Ronald J. (Katie) Buckley and Steven L. Buckley. He is the cherished grandfather of Stephanie, Corey and Danielle Buckley. He will be missed by his canine companion, Buster.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Memorial Services on Wednesday at 12 noon at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. There will be no calling hours.
