Ronald J. Kelly

BALLSTON LAKE – Ronald J. Kelly, 60, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Ronald was born on September 16, 1947 in Albany and was the son of the late Joseph J. and Louise S. (Stangel) Kelly. He worked for NYS for 32 years, 17 of that as a toll collector for the NYS Thruway Authority before retiring in 2002. He enjoyed fishing, vacationing at the ocean in Maine and Disney World in Florida. He was an avid Atlanta Braves and Indianapolis Colts fan.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Mary E. (Berg) Kelly; his children, Adam J. Kelly of Ballston Lake, Erin E. Kelly of Alpena, MI and Annmarie Kelly of Albany; his grandson, Schuyler A. Kelly; his brothers, Louis Thomas Urbano (Lorraine) of Colonie and Stephen P. Kelly of Schenectady; his sister, Patricia L. Marshall (Scott) of Schenectady; his uncle, Leonard Stangel of Albany and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Brunswick. Calling hours will precede the service from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
