Ronald James Kosa, 65, passed away Wednesday April 1, 2009 at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a short illness.
Ronald was born in Albany the son of the late James and Lillian Kosa and has been a lifelong area resident. He served a tour of duty in Vietnam with the US Marine Corps, was honorably discharged in 1970 and was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. Ronald worked for the City of Albany Water Department retiring from the same.
He is survived by his wife Christine (Baldwin) Kosa, son John C. Kosa, Sr. of Albany, brothers James "Sonny" (Grace) Kosa of Kissimmee, FL and Philip (Claudette) Kosa of South Burlington, VT., sister Barbara (Ronnie) LaBounty of Malta, NY, grandchildren John C. Kosa, Jr., Samantha Marie Kosa and Zachary Joseph Kosa and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday 11:00am at Saratoga National Cemtery, Schuylerville, NY. Calling hours will be Sunday 2:00 to 5:00pm at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.).
