Ronald L. Johnson
July 21, 1927 — May 25, 2016
Colonie- Ronald L. Johnson, 88, passed away, Wednesday, May 25, 2016 with his family by his side. He was the loving son of the late Fredrick and Elizabeth Johnson. Ronald is also predeceased by his loving wife and soulmate Florence "Flo" Johnson.
Ronald fought in both the WWII and the Korean War as a United States Marines.
Ronald enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family and friends. Following his retirement Ronald and his wife relocated to Las Vegas for 20 years where he served as a security guard.
Ronald is survived by his children; Ronnie Johnson (Judy), Phyllis Bianchi (Richard), Carol Acker (George), Jo-Ann Johnson, Janice Garavelli (Fred), Joseph Johnson and Paul Johnson. He will be missed by his grandchildren Tammy Burnett, Richard Bianchi, Gail Greely, Tina Bertone, Traci Acker, Karrie Acker, Sarah Acker, Curtis Groff, Emily Garavelli, Samantha Garavelli, Jessica Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Keri Johnson.
He is predeceased by his son Anthony J. Johnson and his brother Fredrick Junior.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 12:00pm at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
