Clifton Park- Ronald D. Lennon "Ron", 65, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, December 16, 2016.
Ron was passionate about his family, friends and a scrappy entrepreneur. His love for being on the open road brought him across the country several times. Truck driving fueled countless stories and an unlimited knowledge of just about every backroad in the country.
Golf was the game he loved most. Both playing and teaching the game always put a huge smile on his face. But his #1 joy was spending time and special moments with his loving children. They were truly his best friends and Ron took pride in that.
Ron is survived by his two children, Marcus D. Lennon and Kristina M. Lennon as well as numerous siblings, nieces and nephews.
Ron is predeceased by his biological and adopted parents as well as several brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to the American Cancer Society or a donation can be made to a local food pantry.
A visitation will be held from 3:00pm-4:30pm at the Bethlehem Community Church, 201 Elm Avenue, Delmar, New York 12054. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 4:30pm.
