Ronald M. Valentine

Colonie- MSgt Ronald M. Valentine, 52, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on September 22, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ronald was predeceased by his mother Barbara Valentine and his step-daughter Tara Hall. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Christine Valentine; his son Zachariah Valentine; his father Henry Valentine; his siblings: Carl Valentine and Rene Baker; his step-children: Chelsey Harris, Kevin Hall, Paul Palmer and Jordan Palmer and several grandchildren.
Ronald retired in 2014 from the 109th Airlift Wing, Stratton Air National Guard Base after 30 years of honorable service to his country.
Visitation will be from 2 pm to 6 pm on Monday, September 26 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 6pm. Burial with military honors will be on Thursday September 29 at 2:30 pm at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Ronald's name to the EHE Foundation, 106105 Olmstead Lane, Woodbridge, VA 22191.
