Ronald Charles Sellnow

April 12, 1941 — May 5, 2018

Ronald Charles Sellnow, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at his home, with his loving family by his side.

Ron was the son of the late Charles Sellnow and Sadie Strzesiewski.

He graduated from Hudson Valley Community College with an Associates degree in Electronics.

He proudly served with United States Navy. Ron worked for over 40 years with Verizon until his retirement in 2002.

He was a member of the NRA, the Voorheesville Rod and Gun Club, the Polish American Community Center.

Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, was a NY Giants fan and an avid collector of just about everything. Ron loved playing poker with his friends and his visits to OTB and the casinos.

In addition to his parents Ron was predeceased by his sister, Sharon Wesoloski, and his brothers, Charles and Frederick Sellnow.

Ron is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Andy) Benincasa. He is the brother of; John Sellnow, Donna DiNovo and Louise Sellnow. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a Military funeral service held at 1:00 pm on Sunday May, 20, 2018 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Followed by calling hours from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Burial will be private.
