Ronald A. Susman, 66, passed away peacefully on Sept.28,2023 after a long illness. Ronnie is predeceased by his father Milton H. Susman and his mother Bertha Scher Susman.
He is survived by his sister Annette Susman , his nephews Gabriel (Luz Ramirez) and Devon Smith. His is also survived by his loving son Lance Susman and Lances mother Lynn Luft.
He graduated from Albany Highschool. He was a counterculture collector and he owned The Book Cellar (on Lark Street) and Strawberry Fields (on Delaware Avenue)
Pat and Terry Phelan were his second family and helped him through this journey. Ronnie was truly lucky and blessed to have such devoted friends that cared for him. They were really there for him and did their best to keep him comfortable in their home.
He was in the wonderful care of Joan Nicole Prince Home, Scotia, NY, many thanks to them. They made his journey smooth and were very caring and compassionate. Words cannot express how thankful we are to them.
Rest in Peace Ronnie, you will always be missed by your family and many friends.
