Ronald V. Ziobroski

North Greenbush- Ronald V. Ziobroski, 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27, 2022 with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 11, 1945, son of the late Francis and Jean Ziobroski. Ronald was the devoted husband to the late Phyllis D. Ziobroski. They were married for 50 years.
After graduating from Mont Pleasant High School, Ronald was a member of the Army Reserve until his honorable discharge. Ronald worked as a machinist at General Electric until his retirement. Upon his retirement from GE, Ronald worked for the NYS Department of Tax and Finance.
Ronald enjoyed spending time with his grandson. He was an avid fan of horse racing and the New York Yankees. Ronald loved the time he spent with Phyllis at the casino.
Ronald is survived by his son, Daniel V. (Stephanie) Ziobroski; grandson, Joshua V. Ziobroski; sister-in-law, Maryann (the late David) Petricca; brother-in-law, Paul (Joan) Surin; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his sister.
A mass will be held at 10am on Friday June 3, 2022 at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Ave, Wynantskill, NY 12198. Burial will follow the service at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1456 Dunnsville Rd, Rotterdam, NY 12306.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ronald's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
