Ronnie Canty, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Samaritan Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Ronnie was the son of the late Robert and Lucille Canty.
Ronnie was the devoted husband of over 58 years, to Emma "Pearl" Canty.
Ronnie was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Troy.
In addition to his wife, Ronnie is survived by his two sons, Ronald "Anthony" Canty and Carl Gamble, Sr. He is the brother of Lucille Canty. He is also survived by a host of close family members and friends.
Calling hours will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 2165 5th Avenue, Troy, NY on Friday June 10, 2016 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service at Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
