Rory A. Halevy

Voorheesville / Gloversville - Rory Adele (Mycek) Halevy, 34, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022. Born in Niskayuna she was the daughter of Donna and Dr. John Mycek Sr. Rory was the loving mother to Henry and Julliette Halevy and their father and her husband Jeff. She will also be missed by her brother, John Mycek Jr.

Rory started her education at Mayfield Elementary school and continued on where she was a graduate of Clayton A. Bouton High School in Voorheesville and then a graduate of Hofstra University. She worked for Conde Nast in Manhattan where she held the title of Senior Director, Content Development, Branded Entertainment, Health in the USA and UK. With her hard work and dedication, she became Producer and Director of stories, she helped tell. Her enthusiasm for her work was contagious to all. Rory enjoyed puppies and taking photos of her children but above all, she loved being a mother.

Other survivors of Rory include her aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 4pm-8pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 9am. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens.
