Rosalie Green

Colonie- Rosalie Green, 79, peacefully ventured into eternal life on Sunday, September 18, 2005, with her loving family by her side. Born in Rensselaer she was the daughter of the late Fred Hill and Edna (Palmer) Hill. Rosalie enjoyed spending time at her camp and even more spending time with her family. She was a member of the Midway Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and the VFW Post #8692. Rosalie is predeceased by her beloved husband of 39 years Edward W. Green, her step father Leonard Moxon, two sisters, Betty Prusky and Florita Jesson, two stepbrothers, William and Leonard, Jr., and her stepsister Ginny.
Rosalie leaves behind to cherish her memory her three daughters, Darlene (Charles) Sebast of Cohoes, Ednamay (Robert) Lester of Colonie, and Karen (William) Poulter of Craryville, NY. Also surviving are six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 Am at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity or organization of one's choice in memory of Rosalie Green.
