Rosann M. Baxter

Troy-Rosann M. Baxter entered into eternal Rest on August 8,2024 peacefully surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Patti of Troy.

Rosann was employed by The N.Y.S. Workers Compensation Board for 23 years. As such she was a member of CSEA local 671. Also served local 671 as Secretary, treasurer and grievances representatives until her retirement. 

Rosann was a Deaconess of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church from 2018. Upon her death she remains a V.P. of The Ushers Missionary. Also was a member of The Deaconess and Missionary Committees. Rosann is beloved by her church community. 

She was a USBC bowler for many years. Being an avid bowler in several leagues. Where she served as Secretary/treasurer in those leagues. She also participated in many State USBC Tournaments with her family and friends. 

Rosann is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Herbert Baxter as well as her daughters, Tina M. Pafundi(Michael) and Terry L. Murray (Charlie) grandchild Elizabeth A. Derenzo(Meighan) and great grandchildren Deonna Maselli and Joseph Ross along with her sister Joann Rhoads (Randall) brother Peter Patti (Reene) as well as many others. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her daughter Deborah Ann Joubert.

The family would like to thank The Westley Community ( Spring 2) and Saratoga Hospice for their compassionate and professional care.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 2pm-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A memorial service will begin at 4pm.
