LATHAM – Rose A. Miller, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late William J. Miller.
Born in West Albany, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Troicaucia) Troiano. She was a homemaker and worked for Desormeau Vending Corp. in Latham for 13 years. She enjoyed watching her soap operas, reading, rides to Lake George and Saratoga, and always making sure she made her daily phone calls to her family and friends, but most especially spending time with her children and family. She was a very kind, loving and giving person. She had a bright smile and a big heart. Her favorite saying was "I feel 100%". She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Rose is survived by her loving children, David W. Miller of Colonie, William G. (Ines) Miller of San Antonio, TX, Annmarie R. Miller Gordon of Latham, and Mary L. Miller of Latham; her sisters, her twin Frances Skorupski of Albany, Mary N. Troiano of Colonie, and Ann Hofmann of Latham; her brother, Anthony Corcione of Colonie; her cherished granddaughters, Ashley Rose Gordon and Heather Marie Miller and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Dominick, Michael and Daniel Corcione.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 a.m. Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, then to St. Ambrose Church, Latham, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
