COLONIE – Rose E. Addario, 87, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Rose was born on April 22, 1924 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Maria Catina (Campione) Papa. She retired from Sears and Roebuck in Colonie. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling, philosophical quotes, sign of the times quotes, music and liked singing.
Rose is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Frank J. Addario, Sr.; her loving children, Joseph F. (Maria Ventura) Addario, Anthony J. Addario, Frank J. (Jackie) Addario, Jr., David J. Addario, and Linda R. Addario; her cherished grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Martha, Angelina, and John; her cherished great-grandchildren, David, Robert, Taylor, Alexandria, and Brian; her brother, Samuel (Margie) Papa and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Carmen and Joseph Papa; her sisters, Katherine Parino, Constance Marsh, and Angeline Carciobolo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
