Rose M. Francis

FRANCIS, Rose M. (Johnson) passed away on November 30, 2009 and has gone on to join the Lord. Mrs. Francis was born on February 19, 1921, the daughter of the late Henry and Katherine Willis. She is survived by her sons, Alfred W. (Martha) Francis, Jr. of Loudonville and Charles (Jackie McLean) Francis of Jacksonville, FL. She was the grandmother of Anthony (Marie) Francis of Miramar, FL, Michele (Mark) Brown of Utica and Clayton (Debbie) Singletary of Gainesville, FL.

Mrs. Francis is also survived by two step grandsons, James (Carla) Mann of West Paterson, NJ and William (Meagan) Mann of Watervliet. She was the sister of Eugene Kittle, Joseph and Augustine Willis and the late Christopher Willis. Rose also leaves 10 great grandchildren to cherish her memory, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 9:00am Saturday December 5, 2009 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). Calling hours are Friday 4:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
