Rose M. Oliver

ALBANY – Rose M. Oliver, 95, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 08, 2009, after a brief illness. She was born in Albany and lived in Albany for most of her life. Rose was the beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Oliver. She is the devoted mother of Mary Duke and Frank (Jeannie) Oliver. She is the cherished grandmother of Jim Duke, Lori Peterson and Joe Duke. Also surviving are seven loving great-grandchildren. Rose was predeceased by her son-in-law, James Duke.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
