Rose Manell

COLONIE-Rose E. Manell, 85, of Colonie, passed away on Thursday July 12, 2007 at the Inn of Community Hospice at St. Peters Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Charles and Josephine Palmer. Rose was a dedicated homemaker . She enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. She was predeceased in 1989 by her husband Francis Manell.
Rose is the beloved mother of Rose Hoffman, Karen Arkazana, Josephine Manell (Richard Loudermilk) and Frank (Joyce) Manell. She is the sister in law of Florence Palmer. Rose is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Memorys Garden. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to the NENY Alzheimer's Association or the American Diabetes Association, in memory of Rose E. Manell.
