Rose Galea, 90, passed away December 9, 2009. She was born in Albany, New York, the daughter of the late Patsy and Mary Ann Ali. Rose was married to her late husband, Joseph Galea and shared 58 wonderful years together. Rose worked for 20 years, along side her husband Joseph in their neighborhood grocery store's in Albany.
Survivors include her daughter Mary Ann Galea Chrysogelos and her husband Anthony, her son Jerome Galea, his wife Susan, and her daughter Gloria Galea Gasorowski and her husband Stanley. Rose also shared her life with her grandchildren; Michael Severino, Michele Sumner, Joseph Galea, Steven and Kristine Martino as well as her great grandchild Michael Anthony Sumner.
She was predeceased by her three brothers and two sisters; Dominic, Frank and Joseph Ali, Julia Macri and Mary Banderia.

Family and friends are invited for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 14, 2009, at 10:00am, at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. There will be no calling hours.
