Rose Mary Guynup

Schenectady- Rose Mary Guynup, 35, passed away suddenly on December 15, 2015. She was born in Schenectady on December 23, 1979 at St. Clare's Hospital.

Rose is predeceased by her father Ronald Guynup Jr.; step-Father, Richard Kolner; aunt, Patty Hough; and grandparents Walter and Charlotte Bartholomew and Ronald and Bernice Guynup.

She is survived by her mother Barbara Bartholomew; her children, Anthony Rodriguez and Carmella Rodriguez. She is also survived by her brothers Jason Guynup (Amanda Rice) and Justin (Nikki) Guynup; aunts, Teresa (Stan) Fiminski, Margaret (Bob) Becker, Rose (Stephanie Heller) Bartholomew, Lisa (Danny) Goodman, Joanne Guynup (Joe) , Pam (Wayne) Pinkerton ,and Dawn (Jim) Reinke; uncles, Bill (Maggie) Bartholomew, Jim Bartholomew, Tom (Dawn) Bartholomew, and Kenny Guynup; cousins, Crystal Strath, Melissa (Eric) Gary, Charlotte (Brian) Henley, Elizabeth Hays, Shannon Bartholomew, Heather Bartholomew, Danny Goodman, and Alicia Goodman; and step-mother Monica Guynup.

Rose was a caring lady and saw good in everyone. She was always willing to help others in need.

Rose enjoyed playing card games, talking on the phone, going on Facebook, drinking Pepsi, and eating Doritos. Rose loved her children with all her heart and loved spending time with family and friends and being the life of the party.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 2-3 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A service will follow at 3PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for a trust to be set up for Rose's Children Anthony and Carmella.
