West Albany – Rose (Mastrianni) McNeil, 85, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 22, 2010.
Rose was born and educated in West Albany the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Manganaro) Mastrianni and was a lifelong resident of West Albany. She was a woman of strong faith and was a lifetime communicant of St. Frances de Sales Church (now Christ Our Light Catholic Church). Rose was an exceptional Italian cook who loved to serve family and friends. She enjoyed horse races, trips to Foxwoods, shopping, the beach and animals. Her greatest devotion was to her family, especially her grandchildren. Rose was predeceased by her husband Joseph J. McNeil in 1974.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Molesky and Bill, son James McNeil and Donna, grandchildren: Billy (Carrie), Joey, John and Justin Molesky and Maria McNeil, great-grandchildren: William and Nathan Molesky, brother Fred Mastrianni (Marie) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Anthony, Neil and Stephen Mastrianni, sisters Katherine Psolkowski , Mary Bailey and baby Catherine Mastrianni.

Funeral services will be Monday 9:00am from New Comer Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie then to Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville, NY 12211 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am. Calling hours will be Sunday 3:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Our Light Catholic Church.
