Rose P. Falco

ALBANY- Rose P. Falco, 90, of Albany, passed away on Monday December 15, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Fiore and Josephine Pasquini.
Rose was predeceased in April of this year by her husband William Falco and in 1983 by her son William J. Falco.
She had worked for New York State for several years. Rose was an active participant of the Newgate Adult Day Service Program through Albany Senior Services. She was a longtime communicant of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. She enjoyed working and creating beautiful artwork.
Rose was very grateful for the Newgate Adult Day Program. They truly did become very close friends and another extended family for her. They put new meaning into every day. They truly are to be commended. She was also very grateful for those who looked after her at Ohav Shlom. Rose was also thankful for the generous support of Debbie McArdle and Isabelle and John Payton throughout the years. Rose was a kind and giving person. She was a loving care giver to her mother. Her deep faith should be an inspiration to us all.
Rose is the beloved mother of Ann Marie Giardenelli and her husband Daniel. She is the cherished grandmother of Tara Giardenelli, Sarah Uthman, Annie and Abby Giardenelli.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday morning at 9:00 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 6 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Newgate Adult Day Services Program, 25 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY 12210 in memory of Rose P. Falco.
