Rose Wells

COLONIE- Rose Marie Wells, 84, of Colonie passed away on Sunday December 4, 2005 at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Raphael and Fanisia Roberti. She was predeceased in 1998 by her beloved husband, Robert Wells Jr.
Rose had worked in the clerical field several years ago. She was a woman of enormous faith and exhibited her unconditional love to every person she came into contact with. Rose was an unselfish gift and she always put a smile on your face regardless of your circumstances. She gave great hugs and shared her kindness without limitations. She was active in bible study groups and had a special appreciation of music and dancing. As a senior citizen, Rose earned her degree from Mildred Elly Institute. She was a longtime member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
She is the beloved mother of Louise Joyce of Albany, Diane Sickles (Edward) of Sanford, FL., David Wells (Joanna) of Ballston Spa and Kenneth Wells (Lori) of Albany. Sister of Delores Takes, Ralph and Joesph Roberti. Cherished grandmother of David, Vanessa, Matthew, Jeffrey, Ryan and Kaitlyn Wells, Edward and Shannon Sickles, Josette and Christina; great grandmother of Billy.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10:00 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Colonie. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior's Lutheran School, Moutainview Ave Albany NY 12205.
